AN aerobics workout promises to leave a charity in the pink later this month.
Fitness instructors Wendy Hard- ing and Gill Glegg are organising a Shock Absorber Pink Aerobics challenge at Northern Ryedale Leisure Centre, in Swainsea Lane, Pickering – and need local women to turn up and show their support for the charity Breast Cancer Campaign.

Wendy said: "Last year we had about 45 ladies with friends turn up and bounced around for two hours in various pink shorts and shirts.

"Alongside the sporty excitement, there is a serious message that women should look after their health by checking their breasts regularly and by wearing a sports bra when exercising."

Now in its fifth year, Wendy wants to match that number and the £1,600 she raised for the charity during last year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Sponsorship forms are available from the leisure centre or swimming pool, or people can turn up on the day and make a donation.

The Pink Aero- bics challenge is on Saturday Octo- ber 18 at 10.30am.
